This unique clamp is designed purposely for carbon seatposts. The asymmetrical design, with the fastening bolt almost tangential to the seatpost, assures homogeneous pressure of the post/tube clamp along the entire pipe circumference, preventing the carbon post from being damaged by uneven pressure from typical post/tube clamps. Also works fine for other post types. Fits most frames designed with a seperate clamp.
